Hi Forum Dudes and Dudettes! I was wondering if anyone here has a cell phone? If you do, I am wondering what you do for cell phone radiation? I was contemplating the purchase of such a device. I used a search engine to looked up said topic. I received a host of information on the subject of which made me apprehensive of getting one now. Can I get some input on on the subject from anybody?

Dear Robert, You bring up a very good issue. Most people don't understand the dangers of having an antenna just inches from your brain radiating energy out in all directions. Ham radio operators have historically had a much higher rate of cancer because of their constant exposure to RF radiation. Cell phones radiate the same RF energy, though at a much lower power level. My answer is to use the "Speakerphone " function on many cell phones and hold it in your hand in front of you, away from your head. That way you'll minimize the radiation going to your brain. Of course, you can also just talk less, too . I hope that helps! Ken Nagele

Yo Ken ! Thanks for your reply, it was helpful ! I've been doing a bit of research on cell phones and noticed that many do not carry the speakerphone function. What do you think of cell phone shields like this one here at this website: www.sarshield.com/Catch ya later pal, Robert

Robert,
I've heard of those, but can't comment on them one way or another. Interesting web site, though. They may well be beneficial.
I think Consumer Reports tested cell phones for radiation quite some time ago. They found that the radiation traveled up the cord, going to your earpeice that is so popular with users today. So even having the cell phone on your belt or in your pocket doesn't protect your brain. I keep mine about a foot away from me (when I'm speaking into it when using the speaker phone feature).
By the way, I use Verizon and am quite happy with their service. I've been with them for about 15 years. (Can you hear me now?)
Good luck!

Ken, Thanks for the input. I will have to check out Consumers Report on the cell phone radiation. I t never hurts to be fully informed on the subject before you invest. To start I liked the "no long distance" charge which was the beginning reason for my research into cell phones. Thanks again for all your help,
Robert

Robert,
I thought you might be interested in a discovery I just made regarding the cell phone shields. While recently testing out the energy effectiveness of the LifeWave Energy Patches, we discovered two things.
One is that synthetic clothing negated the extra energy put out by the patches.
Second, when you wear a cell phone or even have it in your pocket, the energy is also negated.
Then we tried a cell phone with a shield on it. The shield did indeed block the negative radiation coming out of the backside (where it is located), but did nothing to block the radiation coming out of the front side of the cell phone (which would be facing you whenever you use it).
So, it would appear that the shields are little more than a sales gimmick.

Hello Ken! Your testing of the cell phone radiation shields was a bit confusing to me. You say you tried a shield on the back of a cell phone and it did indeed work to block radiation coming out of the back side of the unit but that there still was radiation coming from out of the front. So by your own words it does work. The problem that exists then is that the particular area that produces the radio waves to transmit the phone call needs to have a shield built around it much like there is a shield around the area in a computers motherboard ( can't remember which section that radiates some kind of wave) has. The shields at best are then just a partial or temporary fix to a problem that still perplexes the manufacturers of cell phones! Whether it be a patch/ shield or antenna shield the problem is not totally contained! A sales gimmick, perhaps, but the somebody needs to do something.
Your comment on the product LifeWave Energy Patches was also interesting! To say that the energy that the patches helps to produce is negated by synthetic clothing excites the curiosity of the gray matter. Maybe a warning for us to wear all cotton clothing or wool or ? for better health? Also said energy produced by wearing patches is negated by just having a cell phone on your person means that radio waves linger around its generator! So just having it in your hand or when you place it back into your shirt pocket after use can affect that part of the body by helping to destroy the body cells/ parts nearby. This is not exactly a cherishing thought. The evolution of the cell phone has come a long way but needs further developement in the area of human preservation. Interesting to note you are finding out more about your product LifeWave Energy Patches and the variables that affect it too! Thank you for your testing of cell phone paraphernalia and your product LifeWave !!! Looks like your previous suggestion of using the speakerphone is the best thing so far to counter radiation. Catch ya later guy,
Robert
