Do you guys believe there is extraterrestrial life in this universe, besides the typical Christian answer? Most Christians would say that all that exists is angels, demons, fallen spirits, God, Jesus, and that is it. I find the idea of a universe that has billions, probably trillions of galaxies out there, and we're the only life in this universe silly. I wonder why Christians have such a hard time with the idea of aliens. For some reason they think that aliens disprove the idea of God. I think that proof of aliens would prove there is a God, because of all the complexity involved in having all this life. There would need to be a being of infinite power and intelligence to be able to bring about all of this. I was just wondering if you guys know of any chapters or verses in the Bible that point to extraterrestrial life?
Here is one I can think of:
Colossians 1: 15 - 20
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over ALL creation. 16 For in him ALL things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; ALL things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before ALL things, and in him ALL things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have ALL his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself ALL things, whether things on EARTH or things in HEAVEN, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Hello Zerofly, Thank you for your post. I personally have no problem with the alien concept and agree with your comments. But, this is a question for each individual to come to terms with on their own. We have links to many sites that deal with this subject here: ernestlmartin.com/index7.htm#scienceThere is also a belief among some that aliens are nothing but disguised demons playing games to lead Christians astray. The problem with that is that there is no evidence of any Christians being led astray throughout all of history. Therefore, the whole demonic/alien scenario would seem to be a colossal failure and a waste of time on Satan's behalf. Thanks for asking. Ken

I could understand why some people would want to think that aliens are actually demons, but I don't believe that myself. I think there is more to the Bible, than what we are led to believe according to "orthodox" Christianity. I am not trying to say the bible is science fiction, but that the truth is a lot more out there than people would accept. Look at all the evidence for advance civilizations in the past. Look at the fact that there is physical evidence of man and dinosaurs coexisting together. The Bible actually mentions 2 floods in the book of Genesis. Everyone is familiar with the great flood of Noah, but most people over look the fact the earth was covered in water in the beginning, because of a great cosmic disaster.
In the original Hebrew the 2nd verse of Genesis Chapter 1, says and the earth became vacant and void. Other translations also point to this fact. After that verse is that the spirit of God hovered over the waters of the deep, where did this water come from? People just assume that water has always been there, but there is no mention of that in the book of Genesis. You are probably wondering what this has to do with aliens and the Bible. Most people want to interpret the Bible according to their world view, and not what the Bible says at face value. Most people would have a hard time accepting the idea that the Bible actually has something to say about extraterrestrial life. Due to people's cultural upbringing they will either ignore things that don't reinforce their world view, or attack it, because it doesn't fit their version of moral righteousness. Sadly most Christians are brought up in a culture that teaches them to have a very limited view when it comes to God's universe. Some of them will go so far as even teaching that if a person thinks that aliens are real, they are living in sin. I find this sad that Christians aren't allowed to have a more open mind about things, I used to be this way myself.

Great points, Zerofly. We are all on a path. Some of us take longer to get there than others. Many won't even visit this website because of the UFO links I have on it.
One person I know used to have some of his very good research linked on this site. Then one day he asked me to remove all of the links because I also had links to David Icke on the website (and on an entirely different page). He was afraid demons were going to get him because of that.
I explained that the Jeff Rense site also had links to David Icke and that Jeff Rense was the only broadcaster willing to interview Dr. Martin on the Temple Mount issue. Therefore, using the same logic, he should never listen to the audio broadcasts of Dr. Martin because demons might get him.
He apparently was not amused, as I have never heard from him again.

Hello! Since I've only registered for this forum today, I'd be surprised if either of you respond. However, do either of you find the 'flat earth' movement interesting? The only reason it seems to be growing is because of the myriad of independent researchers all over the world who repeatedly prove through experimentation that the earth has no measurable curvature or movement. Many who question the globe earth model have also exposed a lot of obvious fakery by NASA. What do you think?

Hello sirweddings,
Sorry for the delay in answering you post.
The flat earth issue seems to be a big issue for "informed" people. I have now posted some good sites on our Science page that both debunk the theory and also present information of this being a disinformation scheme by the usual cast of suspicious characters.
Thanks for asking!
